What type of hen would you buy if you were interesting in raising chickens? After reading One Hen, the third graders researched these fun, feathered critters and then filled out a questionnaire to see what type of hen is best for them.

How does Geography impact the way a culture of people live?
We are learning about the impact geography and climate have on an area and its people. A great example of this is The Netherlands. This small European country has had to cope with flooding waters from the North Sea for hundreds of years. Join us if you like on our quest to learn about this country and how it has managed to control the surging water and stay on the land they love.
