Animals of the Polar Regions
We have been sharing stories and researching polar animals to support the classroom curriculum study of penguins. After we read a fiction story about a particular animal, we access our Polar Animals Glog to learn nonfiction information about each animal. Feel free to visit the glog by clicking on the picture.

Let's learn about Fiction & Nonfiction!
We are beginning to discuss the differences between fiction and nonfiction books in the library. In a few weeks, your child will be taking 2 books home from library, one fiction and one nonfiction. The features we are learning about in nonfiction are: Title Page, Table of Contents, Photographs, Maps, Diagrams and Index. Enjoy searching for these features with your child.
Author! Author!
We have been learning about Keiko Kasza, an author and illustrator of children's storybooks. Visit her website here and enjoy your child's description of the following books we shared.
